PLAYLIST FOR “BREAKING THE RECORD” (3.22.14)

Once again Turntable For One goes where no other radio program has tried to go. (What do they know that I don’t and when will I ever learn?) I challenged the record for the most number of songs played during the show and, including references from the accompanists, I played 30 in one hour, a record I think will stand for a while – certainly a lot longer than the Duke basketball team. HINT:

A while back I broke the Turntable For One record for the greatest number of singers played on the air during one show. (And I did it without playing the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.) Well, since nobody wrote or called saying, “Don’t ever do anything like that again,” guess what? I’m doing something like that again.
