ABOUT: TURNTABLE FOR ONE
TURNTABLE FOR ONE is a weekly, one-hour radio program of the best in jazz vocals, featuring classic singers who don’t need last names — Ella, Tony, Frank, Carmen, Sarah — plus contemporary singers who are bringing new life and fresh voices to the Great American Songbook — Jamie Cullum, Emilie-Claire Barlow, Melody Gardot, Anita Wardell, and on and on…
Each show is organized (and we use that term advisedly) around a theme which can vary from the ridiculous to the sublime. In fact, “From The Ridiculous To The Sublime” is exactly the kind of theme we’re talking about.
Listen to live TURNTABLE FOR ONE broadcasts each Saturday night at 10:00 PM on the stations of WMNR, Fine Arts Radio, and streaming on wmnr.org.
