PLAYLIST FOR “OUT-SOURCING” (6.9.12)

10 Jun

These are perilous times, especially for anyone who hates cliches. However, to show my true patriotic stripes, tonight on Turntable For One in a demonstration of economic  austerity, I out-sourced all of the vocalists — to Canada. Not one of these vocalists was born in the U.S. of A., although many of them do have certain facial resemblances to actual Americans. Stay vigilant.

In honor of National “What If Pets Had Thumbs Day” — and I’m not making that up — we had an evening of anatomically correct bodily parts songs. Next week we’ll celebrate the birthday of a special musician — by ignoring him completely. Look for a clue on Wednesday.
