HINT FOR SATURDAY NIGHT’S THEME

15 Sep

Sure, he’s old, but he’s still in the game, playing by his own rules and swinging for the fences.  (No, not Hugh Hefner, for heaven’s sake.) Turntable For One celebrates a poet’s birthday this Saturday night. Who is it? Tune in at 10:00 to find out.

ANTICIPATION

3 Sep

Turntable For One’s summer hiatus, or as I call it, “My long national nightmare,” finally ends tonight at 10:00 PM on WMNR and wmnr.org.

What’s the theme for this first show?  Here’s a hint: what do these statements have in common?   1) If you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem.  2) How much wood would a wood chuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?  3) If you’re so smart, why aren’t you rich?

Tune in tonight at 10:00 for the answer.  Afterwards I’ll be posting the show’s music playlist in case you want to know what CD to buy or music to download.

If this is your first visit to the blog, poke around a little.  For instance, check out the ABOUT page, or leave a comment, or report a stolen guinea pig.  We’re here to help.
