24 Oct

HINT:

Boy meets girl — Haven’t we met?, says he. Be careful it’s my heart, says she. Then boy loses girl and suddenly in the wee small hours in my solitude it’s quarter to three, there’s no one in the  place except you and me, and can’t I have a second chance, and on and on and on… Doesn’t anyone write songs about anything else? Tune in Saturday night and find out!

PLAYLIST FOR LAST SATURDAY NIGHT’S SHOW (10.5.13)

7 Oct

Couldn’t do a live show this week so I had to scour the Turntable For One archives to find a previously-aired program which would meet the high standards and rigid requirements dictated by great radio programming. However, I gave up after about three minutes and just chose this show from December 2012.

Hope to be back this Saturday.

Here’s a link to the playlist in case you want to know a song title, artist, or CD title.

4 Oct

Because of the government shutdown, Turntable For One has been furloughed this week as non-essential. That’s their story. My story is I’m under the weather and won’t be going into the station this week.

Enjoy a show from the archives this Saturday night and I’ll talk to you next week.
