HINT FOR THIS SATURDAY NIGHT’S THEME 11.30.13)

27 Nov

HINT:

For the past three years on the Saturday night after Thanksgiving I’ve been presenting the Annual Turntable For One Music To Be Thankful For program, with some of the songs and singers who have made my year happier and a little less desultory than expected. Some of the radio station’s other broadcasters also get involved with music they’re thankful for this year, too.

So, anyone want to guess what I’ll be doing this Saturday night?

OOPS! CHANGE OF PLANS (11.23.13)

21 Nov

Sorry gang, but I can’t do a live show this Saturday night. Instead we’ll be playing an archived show from last year, although I’ll probably do what you do every week – not listen.

I’ll be back November 30th for The Fourth Annual Turntable For One Music To Be Thankful For show with guests and surprises.

Talk to you then.

So now let’s really put multi-tasking to the test. Do you think there are some singers and musicians who’ll be up to it?

HINT:

“You put your left hand in, you put your left hand out, you put your left hand in, and you shake it all about.”   This is:

a) an acceptable way to test a baby’s bath water.

b) an acceptable way to get support from the Koch brothers.

c) an unacceptable way to eat fondue.

d) a very useful skill for listening to this week’s Turntable For One.

Find out the answer this Saturday night.
