I hope you’re ready this week for the annual Turntable For One Halloween program — so, why do you need a hint to figure out the theme? Because, of course, it’s not that simple nor straight-forward.

All of Saturday’s featured Halloween artists are totally and entirely sinister.

So, now in the time left before Saturday, you’ll be left to your own devices to figure it out. Don’t be left in the lurch, nor left at the starting gate, because then you’ll definitely be left out in the cold.

If you think you know the answer, leave me a comment below.

Or, listen for the answer on Turntable For One, Saturday at 10:00 pm. Live radio on WMNR, Fine Arts Radio, and wmnr.org

And by the way…if anyone shows up Saturday night wearing the same costume I’m wearing, I’m going to be very upset.

I think I’ve got it! The entire hour will consist of tapes from the Nixon White House.

Good guess, Stan. And I think you’ll particularly like the 18-1/2-minute tribute to Rose Mary Woods.

    1. Members of Congress
    2. All Presidential candidates for the 2012 election
    3. The CEO’s of Bank of America, CHASE, and CITI group.
    4. The inventors of the “music video.”

      Hey, Will –

Good guesses all, but not the singers I was planning to play on the program. Still wouldn’t you love to hear all of the people you suggest in a production of “Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street”? Well, now everyone has to wait another week to find out the answer.
BTW – really enjoyed your show last night!

Thanks. It’s good to have “new” voices on the show now and then. Frederique Trunk is an intriguing artist, and I’m a sucker for French female singers. And Latina female singers. And females in general.

I’ll look forward to your post-Halloween extravaganza.
