PLAYLIST FOR “OUT-SOURCING” (6.9.12)

10 Jun

These are perilous times, especially for anyone who hates cliches. However, to show my true patriotic stripes, tonight on Turntable For One in a demonstration of economic  austerity, I out-sourced all of the vocalists — to Canada. Not one of these vocalists was born in the U.S. of A., although many of them do have certain facial resemblances to actual Americans. Stay vigilant.

PLAYLIST FOR “AN IRISH STEW” (3.17.12)

18 Mar

Thanks for joining me for our St. Patrick’s Day revelry, featuring a stew of Irish songs, Irish singers, and even a few Irish jazz singers we don’t hear often over here. Though my favorite part of the show was eating an entire bowl of Lucky Charms.

Don’t miss the clue for next week’s show this Wednesday. Stay home from work if you have to.
