Soon it will all be in the rearview mirror; the midterms will have passed, and we’ll know who are the winners and who are the losers. It will all be over – except for the celebrating, the crying, the blaming, the lawsuits, the recounts, the excuses, the recriminations, the marches, the protests. So just to ease my listeners into this traditional, all-American period of jubilation and mourning, I played songs abut winning and losing. The singers, however, were all total winners.
