A couple weeks ago I made a joke calling myself the original Big Beautiful Bill. I thought it was pretty funny all things considered these days. But then I started worrying. What about Billy Wilder? Or Bill Buckley? Or Bill Russell? Or Bill Parcels? Or maybe even Barnacle Bill The Sailor? What about all big beautiful Bills? Didn’t I owe them an apology? So I played a couple of hours of singers, musicians, arrangers, and composers named Bill. I thought they fit the bill perfectly.
