PLAYLIST FOR “FINDING MY RELIGION” (9.14.13)

15 Sep

This show was all about feeling the spirit. It was about the joy of accepting soul in your soul. Okay, it was mostly about songs that, either directly or indirectly, mentioned God, and often to ironic effect.  This still is my show after all.

Here’s a link to the playlist when the show aired live in February.

I’m back and this Saturday’s show will be new. Drop back on Wednesday for a hint about the theme. Special imaginary prize for the first ten people who do.

PLAYLIST FOR TRIBUTE TO THE PREPOSITION (2.18.12)

19 Feb

Tonight’s Turntable for One, a lesson in the proper use of the preposition (not to be confused with the improper use of the proposition)  was another in our continuing educational series, “No Listener Left Behind.” In weeks to come, don’t miss invaluable lectures on recognizing a direct object, preferably before you hit it and examples of the passive voice in ventriloquism.
