It’s that time of year when millions of people have to confront their S.A.D., their Seasonal Affect Disorder. Mine is usually triggered by the realization that a new season of “Dancing With The Stars” is right around the corner. That’s one of so many things that can make me so, so sad. Which swimsuits to take to a desert island, which books, which movies, which antiseptics — all that’s easy. But which music? Tonight was another attempt at my coming to grips with the question that tantalizes and tortures people, usually when they’ve run out of important things to think about. Some of this music I can’t do without, and some it…well, choosing is just too hard. Don’t forget: You can play this game at home, but knowing you, you’ll somehow turn it into another drinking game.
