The two words, give and take, are frequently associated with my show, although usually in the form of “Give me a break!” and “I’m going to take a nap.” But this week all of the songs had either the words or the concepts of giving and taking. Plus it was the audience’s turn to get involved because it was Fall Fundraising week at WMNR, Fine Arts Radio (wmnr.org); so with phone and on-line pledges people put their money where my mouth is, supporting the show and this wonderful anomaly of a radio station. What’s the difference between a Dream and a Plan? Well, I’ve been having a lot of bad dreams lately, a lot of bad plans, too.
