PLAYLIST FOR “HALLOWEEN PARTY 2023” 10.28.23

30 Oct

It’s that time again. Time for ghost and goblins and ghouls; time for witches, curses, and the walking dead. And that means it’s time for my annual musical tribute to Congress. Whoops – wrong calendar! I mean it’s time for my annual Halloween Party. I play my favorite Halloween songs, and when trick or treaters come to the door, I get to guess who they’re dressed up to be, and then hand out an appropriate song. The final song of the show has absolutely nothing to do with Halloween, but I think it has absolutely everything to do with everything else.

What do these 3 things have in common: building a house at the edge of a cliff overlooking the ocean,  launching a nuclear attack – you pick the target, transporting Prince Harry and Meghan from a New York City event to their hotel three blocks away. No, they’re not on my bucket list. Correct answer: They all take Planning! And you know what else takes planning – this show!  Stop laughing. To prove how completely, thoroughly this show is planned, I chose for a musical theme: Hey – That sounds like a plan.
