WMNR Fine Arts Radio was celebrating another Musical Theme Week, “Gone Fishin'”. So, of course, I jumped right in, since I’ve spent my life  fishing for the right words and angling for an original thought. A program for all the mothers in the audience, and for a change I meant it in a literal sense, not as a nasty pejorative. So it was two-hours of music about being a mother, caring for their kids, worrying about their kids, and advising their kids – any of which can be taken to an uncomfortable extreme…but maybe that’s just my story.
