HINT FOR THIS WEEK’S MUSICAL THEME (9.18.21)

15 Sep

HINT:

I was away for two months and missed a lot of special days worth celebrating. And unlike this happy-go-lucky group of gadabouts, I plan to celebrate as many as I can this Saturday night.

PLAYLIST FOR “REDUX” (3.20.21)

21 Mar

I divided the show into two parts this week, one part the traditional Turntable For One party for St. Patrick’s Day, replete with Irish singers and musicians, Irish-American singers and musicians, and the most important Turntable for One tradition of all: me eating a bowl of Lucky Charms on the air. To celebrate the fact that this was my first live show from the station in a long, long while, in the second part of the show I shared some of the music that helped get me through the last 12 months of sheltering in place. So nice to be back, like Spring flowers, green grass, and seasonal allergies.
