It seems now we even disagree about agreeing to disagree. Things are totally out of control. Don’t you agree? PLAYLIST FOR “OSCAR LOSERS…AND A FEW WINNERS” (2.25.17)

Most of these songs are losers, Oscar losers, that is. (Though none of the singers and musicians are.) In addition to paying tribute to the Oscar nominated songs, I also took time out to pay tribute to Sweden and Swedish jazz singers in their time of tears and trial following the terrorist attacks that so surprised, if not stunned, us all when we heard about them.

It’s true that smiling requires more muscles than frowning, which must be why smiling always tires me so quickly. Still, considering all that we know and fear about the world today, I thought it was worth spending a couple hours focusing on laughing and smiling.
