I know it was wishful thinking on my part, but on Saturday’s show I celebrated finally hitting bottom. No, this wasn’t a tribute to Stormy Daniels, it was a realization that the way things are going, I may not live long enough to see us hit the actual bottom. Forget Frank; Tony can take a hike; Carmen isn’t coming; and Nina’s a no-show. In fact, I gave all American jazz singers the night off and played singers from around the world to celebrate (a couple days early) International Jazz Day.
